Lauren believes that in order to create stronger neighborhoods, our greenways should be connected throughout the city, decreasing car traffic and creating a high-quality walkable and bikeable city. If we increase walking and biking options between our neighborhoods and business centers, we can encourage more neighborhood connectivity to town centers, allowing older neighbors to age in place. When we are able to walk, bike, or bus to our commercial needs, we can improve the health and safety of the community. Walkable neighborhoods allow development of live, work, play for all ages.
